Umicore (formerly Union Minière) is a Belgian materials-technology and recycling group with origins in 1805. Headquartered in Brussels, Umicore is one of Europe's largest precious-metals refiners — its Hoboken site refines significant quantities of recycled gold, silver, platinum and palladium each year.
Umicore's bullion bars are LBMA Good Delivery accredited and a familiar sight at UK dealers, typically positioned alongside Metalor and PAMP for low-premium 100g and 1kg cast gold.
