Differences between the four metals

• Gold (XAU) — the classic store-of-value metal; deep, liquid global market
• Silver (XAG) — both monetary and industrial; smaller, more volatile market
• Platinum (XPT) — historically driven by diesel autocatalyst demand
• Palladium (XPD) — petrol autocatalyst demand; very tight physical market

How to read the dashboard

Each card shows the spot price per troy ounce, the per-gram equivalent, and the change versus the previous published snapshot. Arrows indicate direction. The status strip at the top shows when the data was last refreshed and counts down to the next refresh.
